EXO members Kai and Sehun are teaming up for a new unit, with their official debut set for December.
The two idols will launch their unit next month, according to Newsen on November 2nd. Kai and Sehun are both born in 1994 and are affectionately known as the “94-line” among fans. The duo has gained popularity for their striking visuals, impressive physiques and powerful performances.
The pair have already shown their chemistry on several occasions. Sehun made a surprise appearance as a guest performer at Kai’s solo concert last year.
In January, they also appeared together on Jeongwadate, a special spin-off of the web variety show Jeongwaja, hosted by Kai, where they showcased their playful, bickering dynamic.
The two idols have also been confirmed to appear on ENA and TEO’s travel variety show World Dice Tour 4.
Following their unit launch, Kai and Sehun are expected to connect with fans through music, performances, and various entertainment programs and other content.
Meanwhile, EXO celebrated its 14th anniversary this year by releasing its eighth full-length album, REVERXE, in January. The album achieved impressive results, making EXO an eight-time million seller and topping domestic and international album and music charts. The group also completed a Grand Slam with five music show wins.
EXO kicked off its world tour with three concerts at KSPO DOME in Seoul’s Olympic Park from April 10th to 12th. The group went on to successfully hold 27 shows across 14 regions worldwide.
