Heartthrob Kim Woo Bin is reportedly taking center stage in the forthcoming film Probation Officer (literal title).
According to SPOTVNEWS on the 13th, the actor is currently in talks to star in the next cinematic venture of Director Kim Joo Hwan, Probation Officer.
Probation Officer is the new project of the acclaimed director, known for his work on films such as The Divine Fury, Midnight Runners, and the Netflix series Bloodhounds. The movie is expected to delve into the story of a martial arts-trained, unlimited contract worker affiliated with the Ministry of Justice who monitors electronic monitoring bracelet wearers and subdues any verbal abuse and violence that arise.
Kim Woo Bin garnered widespread attention for his charismatic portrayal of the protagonist 5-8 in Netflix’s series Black Knight, which premiered last month. In addition to this, he has another film, Alienoid Part 2, in the pipeline, which has already finished shooting and is set for release soon.
Meanwhile, casting for Probation Officer is still in progress, and the film is slated to commence shooting in the second half of this year.
