Jo Bo Ah will be making a surprise cameo appearance in Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938.

On June 9th, tvN gave us a glimpse of Lee Yeon (played by Lee Dong Wook) and Nam Ji Ah (Jo Bo Ah) longing for each other in their own timelines.

Lee Yeon, who crashed in 1938, is struggling to return to the present where his everlasting love Nam Ji Ah resides. He decides to live patiently as a time traveler until a lunar eclipse opens the gateway to time. However, after witnessing the Korean monsters’ challenging reality, he becomes resolute in fulfilling his role as a mountain god. He sets out on a mission to hunt down Japanese spirits and bring harmony back before returning to the present.

The latest images from the upcoming episode have sparked excitement among viewers as they anticipate the destined reunion of Lee Yeon and Ji Ah. In the photos, Lee Yeon is captured with sorrowful and determined eyes as he prepares to say goodbye to the people of 1938 after completing his mission.

In other photos, Nam Ji Ah is in the present day, filled with longing for Lee Yeon. She reminisces about the times when he would appear with a red umbrella on rainy days.

The production team expressed, “Lee Yeon has fought tirelessly to return to the present and reunite with Ji Ah. Stay tuned to witness their heartfelt reunion and the special appearance of Jo Bo Ah that fans have been eagerly awaiting.”
