Lee Joon Hyuk shared the hilarious moments he encountered while working with Ma Dong Seok on the set of the movie The Roundup: No Way Out.
The actor first talked about how excited he was for the movie. He revealed, “I was hooked right from the moment I read the script. It’s an exciting adventure, but it also comes with its challenges, like the pressure of gaining weight and having a lot on your plate.”
He continued, “While I’ve done some action scenes in dramas before, working with such seasoned professionals made this experience the safest one yet. I had complete trust in them.”
With a chuckle, he added, “During a scene where I had to take punches while wearing protective gear, the director shouted ‘cut!’ at the perfect moment. But boy, those punches were something else. I let out this yelpy little sound, like a voice I didn’t even recognize.”
Additionally, the actor expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming attention The Outlaws series has been receiving since its release. He said, “I am truly thankful for the support,” and stressed, “In terms of generating buzz and publicity, the level of attention is beyond imagination.”
However, he also acknowledged, “While I appreciate the spotlight, it does come with its fair share of pressure.” He concluded by saying, “Nevertheless, I would be even more grateful if people come to watch the movie and find it enjoyable.”
