BTS’s V has once again captured the hearts of fans worldwide with his radiant and charismatic presence.
On the afternoon of May 23rd, V attended an event held by the luxury brand Celine at Cannes. Dressed in a skinny silhouette black suit designed by Celine’s creative director, Hedi Slimane, V flawlessly embodied the essence of a “Celine Boy.”
Adding to the buzz, a selfie with his close friend, actor Park Bo Gum, who also attended the event, quickly caught fans’ attention. V and Park Bo Gum have been good friends since they first met on a music show back in 2015. Another photo even featured BLACKPINK’s Lisa who showed off her radiant presence.
V’s Instagram posts from Cannes ignited an explosive response. In just an hour, his posts had garnered 5 million likes, skyrocketing to 9.8 million likes by 7 AM the following morning. His name “Kim Taehyung” topped France’s real-time trends and made a breakout on Google Trends.
Not stopping there, V also turned heads by attending a charity party hosted by Naomi Campbell. Campbell celebrated her birthday by inviting brand ambassadors and celebrities to a charity auction aimed at supporting Cancer Research UK.
Campbell has long shown interest in the singer, often liking posts made by V on BTS’s official Twitter account. Upon the launch of V’s personal Instagram account, she was quick to follow him.
