Amidst anticipations and concerns, the late Sulli’s project Persona: Sulli is set to be unveiled.

On the 20th, the news spread primarily via social media that Persona: Sulli has been added to Netflix Brazil’s catalog. Along with this update, the film poster and a pre-recorded interview with Sulli have been circulated.

In the trailer for Persona: Sulli, the singer candidly shares, “I was curious about my role in society, what my peers thought and felt, and how to relate to them.” She further reflects, “Fame hit me all at once. I understood it, but it scared me.”

On the 21st, an official from Netflix told Starnews, “Persona: Sulli is a Mystic Story production. The overall agreement regarding its streaming availability and final release date on Netflix is currently under discussion.”

The upcoming release of Persona: Sulli has sparked both expectations and concerns. Given Sulli’s popularity and the tremendous love she received, most reactions express the desire to see her on screen again. However, the understanding that the film is likely to contain her genuine narratives incites concerns about speculation and unnecessary talks over her life even after her death.

Persona is a short film series created by singer Yoon Jong Shin and four directors, each using an actor as their muse. Season 1, which starred IU, was released on Netflix.

Persona announced Sulli as the second muse of the project. However, the singer tragically passed away in the midst of filming this documentary-style second part, leading to the project’s suspension. Consequently, Persona: Sulli became her posthumous work.
