BTS’ Jungkook generously donated 1 billion won (about $760,000) to Seoul National University Children Hospital.
On the 18th, Seoul National University Children Hospital revealed that Jungkook had donated 1 billion won on the 14th for the benefit of sick children and their families. Jungkook’s donation will be used for the medical expenses of low-income children and the Integrated Care Center project.
Seoul National University Children’s Hospital is currently treating children with severe rare and incurable diseases, pediatric cancer, and leukemia from all over the country. The hospital also operates an Integrated Care Center to help not only the patients but also their families. However, the Integrated Care Center has been running a deficit, and it would be difficult to sustain without sponsorship. Jungkook’s donation will be a significant help, according to the hospital’s statement.
Making the generous donation, Jungkook said, “I hope this will provide some support to the children who are suffering from pain, and I wish for the children to be able to smile healthily.”
