SBS released stills from the first overseas fan meet-up that Running Man members held in Philippines after three years.
The members said, “We’re going to have an overseas fan meet-up for the first time in three years,” expressing their excitement to open the show at the Incheon International Airport after a long time.
They arrived at Manila Airport in the Philippines at dawn local time and started their scheduled plans. Even at dawn, a large crowd of local fans flocked to the airport to catch a glimpse of them, making it impossible to continue filming.
The excitement of local fans was palpable as 10,000 seats quickly sold out in an hour, so the members worked very hard to make the event great by repeatedly rehearsing. The members opened the performance with BTOB’s “Missing You”.
Yoo Jae Suk turned into singer Yoo San Seul and sang “Redevelopment of Love” while Kim Jong Kook sang his hit song named “One Man”. Song Ji Hyo and Jeon So Min were seen performing IVE’s “LOVE DIVE”, and Yoo Jae Suk, Kim Jong Kook, HAHA and Yang Se Chan surprised fans with Zico’s “New thing”.
At the end of the event, fans started to sing along the song “I Like It” with a video they prepared playing on screen, which made the members burst into tears. They said, “Thank you so much,” lowering their heads. Jee Seok Jin described Running Man as “My Life,” and Jae Suk expressed his gratitude and stated, “It’s a dream come true to have a fan-meet up here abroad.”
