Anticipations for Taxi Driver Season 3 are already high.
A drama official stated on April 16th, “We have decided to film Season 3, and will shortly start discussing with the actors and creators. And nothing has been confirmed on who will lead the show as we are currently in the beginning stage.”
Following the success of its first season, Taxi Driver Season 2 also ended on a high note with the highest viewership rating of 21.0 percent for its final episode. So the drama fans are already showing enthusiasm about the new season while speculating what the recent season’s ending could possibly mean.
The final episode had Kim Do Gi (played by Lee Je Hoon) disguising as a soldier again and infiltrating the military to investigate the death of a female sergeant, who suffered a secondary abuse and eventually took her life after reporting her sexual assault. Do Gi was seen saying, “I was ordered to be transferred on December 8th, 2023.”
Kim Do Gi then runs into Lieutenant Oh Mi Seo (Moon Chae Won). She saluted him, but he just ignored her and walked past, leaving viewers wondering what will happen to them next.
Many viewers could not hide their excitement for the upcoming season, speculating that his military transfer date might be the premiere date of the new season.
