Girls’ Generation member Kwon Yuri recently shared on Instagram that she underwent surgery for varicose veins. On March 20th, she wrote, “Me versus Varicose veins Round 3. Bring it on. I hope the blood circulation in my legs improves soon. I am not scared at all.”
Varicose veins are veins that become enlarged and swollen, usually in the legs and feet. They develop as a result of weakened or damaged vein walls, which allow blood to flow backward and pool in the veins.
Kwon Yuri was pleased to report that the surgery had been successful and expressed, “I’m excited to share with you that my surgery went well. I’m feeling great and can now get back to my daily routine, which includes enjoying a drink or two. The best part is that my leg pain will be significantly reduced, which means I can’t wait to get back to dancing, singing, and meeting all of you, my wonderful fans. Thank you for all your love and support, and I look forward to seeing you all soon!.”
Meanwhile, Kwon Yuri is set to appear on a new tvN variety show called Business Genius, CEO Baek (literal title), which will premiere on April 2nd.
