Taeyang guest appeared on a Youtube video uploaded by 1theK Originals and talked about his lovely son and or his latest collaboration with BTS’ Jimin.
The video begins with the BIGBANG member looking up his name online and pointing out the wrong information about his son’s birthday listed in the family information section of his profile, which said that his wife Min Hyo Rin gave birth to his son in December 2021. “He was born in November, so he just had his first birthday. He looks a lot like my wife and is very pretty. Whenever I take him outside, people ask me if he is a girl, and I have to tell them that he is a boy. He is so lovely and precious,” he said with a smile.
Last year, Taeyang transferred to The Black Label founded by YG producer Teddy. He then released his new single “VIBE,” on which he collaborated with BTS’ Jimin.
When he was asked how he came to collaborate with Jimin, the singer answered, “I think it was two years ago. One day, Teddy told me that it’d be great for me to work on a new song with Jimin. Then I got the chance to meet him. After getting to know him a little better, I asked him if he was up for a collaboration.”
“He said that he was in middle school when he first came across our album ALIVE and that it made him dream of becoming a singer. He said he would listen to them after school and dream of different things. It feels surreal that the little boy is now a successful artist working on a new song with me,” Taeyang said with a hearty laugh.
