Park Hae Jin, Park Sung Woong & Lim Ji Yeon Confirmed for New Legal Drama

National Death Penalty Vote (literal title) has confirmed the casting of Park Hae Jin, Park Sung Woong, and Lim Ji Yeon.

SBS’s new series National Death Penalty Vote centers around “Dog Mask” who executes those who escaped punishment by taking advantage of the loophole in the system according to the result of the national death penalty vote and the police who are after the “justice” he believes in. It’s based on the popular webtoon of the same name that garnered 130 million views.

First, Park Hae Jin steps into the role of Kim Moo Chan, team leader of the 1st regional investigation unit of the Nambu Provincial Police Agency. He has been on the fast track, setting all new records for the youngest to be promoted in the fastest time period.

Joining him in the cast is Park Sung Woong as Kwon Seok Ju, who was put behind bars after killing the man who raped his 8-year-old daughter. Having been a famous legal expert in Korea, he’s treated like the “guru” inside the prison. Lim Ji Yeon plays lieutenant Joo Hyun in the cyber bureau of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. She was once an ace member of the team and is now considered the black sheep.
