Song Hye Kyo is returning with a new face of a woman on a mission.

On the 15th, Netflix dropped the main trailer for its upcoming highly-anticipated series The Glory.

The 2-minute trailer begins with the blissful marriage of Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon). But in the corner, Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo) is glaring at her with her bloodthirsty eyes. “From now on, every single day will be a nightmare,” she says in the narration. “They’ll be provocative and terrifying. You can’t stop me or make me disappear.”

And slowly, Dong Eun shows up in front of the people who made her life a living hell in her school days – Yeon Jin, Jae Joon (Park Sung Hoon), Sara (Kim Hieora), Hye Jung (Cha Joo Young), Myung Oh (Kim Gun Woo). She takes her revenge on those who have zero regrets about what they’ve done with Hyun Nam (Yeom Hye Ran), who also wants revenge, and deliberately approaches Yeon Jin’s husband Do Young (Jung Sung Il).

Moreover, the lines that feel like lines from literature, such as “Criminal punishment if God’s on your side, and divine punishment if God’s on my side” and “For your eventual destruction. For my eventual corruption,” raise expectations.

Writer Kim Eun Sook shared, “I hope that The Glory will be remembered as a thrilling drama, like a dancing sword, to viewers.”

Meanwhile, The Glory will be released on the 30th.
