TWICE has canceled their 7th anniversary fan meeting.
On the 31st, JYP Entertainment announced, “We inform you that the TWICE 7th anniversary fanmeeting ‘TWICE FANMEETING ONCE HALLOWEEN 3’ has been canceled.”
“Both artists and executives are deeply saddened by the tragic accident on the 29th,” the company added. “Therefore, we are canceling ‘TWICE FANMEETING ONCE HALLOWEEN 3’ previously scheduled on Saturday, November 5th.”
The label stated that they considered changing the concept of the event, but due to the time constraint and various aspected, they decided to officially cancel the fan meeting. Lastly, they wrote, “We send our deepest condolences to the victims and their families and sincerely wish for a quick recovery.”
Officials said they identified nearly all of the victims of a deadly crowd crush during Halloween celebrations in Itaewon on Saturday evening, leaving at least 154 dead and about 133 injured.
