The Owl (literal title), starring Ryu Jun Yeol and Yoo Hae Jin, has confirmed its November release.
NEW, a Korean distribution company, announced on the 4th the release of The Owl on November 23rd and dropped two posters.
The Owl is a new historical thriller about a blind acupuncturist who can only see at night. The movie follows his struggles over one night as he tries to reveal the truth after witnessing the death of the crown prince.
The posters show Ryu Jun Yeol and Yoo Hae Jin staring straight ahead as only half of their faces are visible. The darkness draped over the other half of their faces raises the expectations for the tense, thrilling story the movie will unfold. Moreover, both posters have the copy “The crown prince is dead,” raising curiosity as to what this death will bring out.
Yoo Hae Jin plays King Injo, who’s blinded by madness after the death of the crown prince, while Ryu Jun Yeol takes on the role of Kyung Soo, a blind acupuncturist who opens his eyes to the truth. Joining them in the cast are Choi Moo Sung, Jo Sung Ha, Park Myung Hoon, Ahn Eun Jin, and more.
