YoonA gushed about working with Hyun Bin and Daniel Henney in Confidential Assignment 2: International.
In a recently held press conference, the singer-turned-actress revealed, This is my first time filming a sequel to a movie,” and added,� “It was so nice seeing them again, and I had a wonderful time shooting the second film.”
YoonA reprises her role as Kang Jin Tae (played by Yoo Hae Jin) hilarious sister-in-law Park Min Young in the second movie. This time, Min Young finds her calling as a beauty Youtuber and pursues her big dream of becoming a successful social influencer despite only making 10 cents a day. Yoon Ah said, Just like in the first installment, I did my best to bring my character to life in the upcoming movie. I had fun reprising the role as she has gone through many changes over the years.
YoonA, who had a crush on Hyun Bin in the original film, will become entangled in a love triangle with Chul Ryung (Hyun Bin) and Jack (Daniel Henney). Regarding the new onscreen romance with the two agents, she remarked, I had so much fun shooting the movie with them. I loved how they fought over Min Young, and thanks to Jack, Chul Ryung came forward with his feelings for her. There were just many heart-fluttering moments, and it was an ideal working environment.
The upcoming movie follows North Korean detective Im Chul Ryung and South Korean detective Kang Jin Tae, who reunite to pursue a global crime ring. An FBI agent named Jack joins the two, and the three detectives team up to achieve their separate own goals.
Confidential Assignment 2: International �will hit theaters on September 7th.
