On July 19th, TVING shared the list of the most-watched shows of this year, based on the number of unique visitors who have used the VOD service.
Military Prosecutor Doberman came in at No.5 on the list, with You Quiz on the Block at No.4, Unexpected Business 2 at No.3 and Twenty-Five Twenty-One at No.2. The first place went to Seoul Check-in, which stayed atop the list from January to June of this year.
Among the content released last year, the programs that became popular in the first half of this year were all TVING Originals, except for tvN’s New Journey to the West 8, which came in at No.5 on the list. New Journey to the West Special Spring Camp landed at No.4 and Yumi’s Cells and Girls’ High School Mystery Class ranked No.3 and No.2, respectively. Work Later, Drink Now topped the list as the show played a crucial role in helping the service to grow its paid subscriber base at a rapid pace.
TVING is currently airing Transit Love 2 and Zero-Sum Game, and is set to drop Witch Hunt 2022, Youth MT, and Work Later, Drink Now 2 in the latter half of next year.
