Marie Claire released Son Suk Ku and Kim Ji Won‘s pictorial and short interview in its August issue.
In the pictorial, Son Suk Ku and Kim Ji Won brought out the deep and serious vibe of the hit drama My Liberation Notes. Aired this spring, the drama told the emotional story of three siblings hoping to escape their stifling lives and the mysterious man who moved in next door.
The two actors talked about how My Liberation Notes became such a special project for them. “We made such good memories while filming together,” they said. “Around the time the drama ended, we thought it’d be nice to leave something memorable together.”
Son Suk Ku and Kim Ji Won also shared how their thoughts on love changed after working on My Liberation Notes. Son Suk Ku commented, “Filming My Liberation Notes, I was able to reaffirm my thoughts about love. Throughout the show, the drama keeps telling viewers that only people who know how to care for themselves can also love others.” Kim Ji Won responded, “I experienced how my scope of love expanded and grew.”
