Sooyoung talked about Girls’ Generation’s comeback and her boyfriend Jung Kyung Ho.
In the recent episode of tvN Story’s variety show Take Care of Me This Week (literal title), Sooyoung joined hosts Sung Dong Il and Ko Chang Seok at the set of Mr. Sunshine and explored various foods and drinks.
While enjoying the snacks, Sooyoung looked at Ko Chang Seok and praised him for his “global” looks. Sung Dong Il asked the actor if he had played lots of foreign roles, to which he replied, “I’ve played Chinese, Vietnamese, etc.”
Sung Dong Il then asked, “Will you cut your beard if you got a part in a romance drama?” Ko Chang Seok immediately answered, “I can shave my entire body,” giving a big laugh. However, Sooyoung chimed in, “No, (this look) is your charm,” and revealed that she likes men with facial hair.
Hearing that, Sung Dong Il said, “The person I know doesn’t have any facial hair,” referring to Sooyoung’s long-term boyfriend Jung Kyung Ho. Sooyoung wittingly responded with a laugh, “Don’t we usually go opposite [from your ideal type]?”
Afterward, Sung Dong Il asked Sooyoung about Girls’ Generation’s comeback. Sooyoung replied, “We’re returning for the first time in five years with a full-length album,” confirming that her group will drop a full album next month.
No information regarding the album has been released yet, but it is said that the act will show off the “K-girl group’s original charm.” The members are currently managed by different labels, so they’re now practicing on their own time. Before the long-awaited comeback, Girls’ Generation will greet fans first through JTBC’s new variety show Soshi Tamtam, set to premiere today at 9 PM KST.
