IU stepped on the red carpet at the Cannes International Film Festival with her killer style in a grey dress.

IU walked on the red carpet together with director Hirokazu Kore-eda, Song Kang Ho, Kang Dong Won and Lee Joo Young. The event was live-streamed on Cannes’s official YouTube channel on May 27th.

IU dazzled in her grey off-shoulder dress, which perfectly highlighted her collar bone and toned shoulders. She slayed the red carpet by finishing her killer look with a diamond necklace which is reportedly valued at $89,533. The necklace is made of 18K white gold, and its chain is encrusted with about 180 diamonds. The diamond stone located in the middle is said to be about 1.50 to 1.70 carats.

Meanwhile, Broker received mixed reviews on its premiere. Guardian, one of two media outlets that gave a score of 2 out of 5 for the film, said, “ The movie is fundamentally silly, with tiringly shallow characterization and broad streaks of crime-drama intrigue, which only underline the fact that not a single word of it is really believable.” The other outlet, The Telegraph, also stated, “This may be the Cannes competition’s biggest disappointment.”

In contrast, DEADLINE commented, “Broker may not be a deep movie, but it is one that stays in close touch with human frailties, emotional elasticity, a vast range of temperaments and the hopes and desires of people who have been set in their societal roles for a long time.” Also, Variety gave the film favorable reviews by reporting, “The movie follows the director’s natural curiosity through to its most humanistic conclusion, as audiences unexpectedly come to empathize with practically everyone involved in the buying and selling of a little bundle of joy.”
