Will Lee Joon Hyuk and Yoo Ji Tae team up with Nam Joo Hyuk in the new webtoon-based series Vigilante?

Vigilante is based on the Naver webtoon of the same name by Kim Kyu Sam. It revolves around a man attending a police university who lost his mother to a thug at a young age. He entered the police university to find the culprit, and every weekend, he sets out to punish the criminals. Vigilante refers to a member of a self-appointed group of people who undertake law enforcement in their community without legal authority.

Earlier, it was reported that Nam Joo Hyuk was offered the lead role Kim Ji Yong, the “Vigilante.” And now, Lee Joon Hyuk and Yoo Ji Tae are in talks to join him in the production.

If they do join the show, Lee Joon Hyuk plays Cho Kang Ok, the vice president of DK Group and the designer of Vigilante, and Yoo Ji Tae plays detective Jo Hun.

Cho Kang Ok dreamed of becoming a hero, just like “Batman,” but he was forced to face reality. But with meticulous designs, he successfully produces Kim Ji Yong as “the real hero.” Jo Hun is the head of the investigation team of the Metropolitan Investigation Unit. He was always recognized for his talent from his police university days, winning the nickname “the physical monster.”

Meanwhile, Vigilante is in talks to be programmed in an OTT platform.
