Esom will be unable to participate in the upcoming season of Taxi Driver.
On March 8th, Esom’s agency Artist Company announced, “Esom will not be starring in the second season of Taxi Driver.” The rep added, “After having a thorough conversation with the production, the actress decided to drop out of the new season due to a conflict in her schedule.”
Esom played a female prosecutor named Kang Ha Na, a new character added to the TV adaption from its original webtoon titled The Deluxe Taxi.
SBS has confirmed the production of a sequel for Taxi Driver, which scored a peak viewership rating of 16 percent during its run. Taxi Driver is an action crime series about a cab driver named Kim Do Ki (Lee Jae Hun) who works at a mysterious company called Rainbow Taxi that runs a “secret on-call revenge service.” � The team takes on the client’s requests to deliver justice on behalf of those who wrongfully suffered.
Meanwhile, Esom will be starring in three new films and shows: Netflix original series Delivery Knight, film Kill Bok Soon �and Starlight Falls �(literal translation).
