Kim Ha Neul says that she chose Kill Heel because it’s a female-centered drama.
On Tuesday, tvN’s new drama Kill Heel held its online press conference, which Kim Ha Neul, Lee Hyun Young, Kim Sung Ryong, and director Noh Do Chul attended. Kill Heel depicts the endless desires and struggles of three women in the world of home shopping. The show tells the passionate story of those blinded by success and jealousy.
Kim Ha Neul takes on the role of Woo Hyeon, a home shopping host for fashion items. After enduring the moment of frustration, she begins to “turn dark” with the desire and greed for success.
The actress shared, “I’ve mostly worked on romance dramas with male actors. But from a few years back, I’ve always said that I want to work with fellow actresses more in my interviews. And it has finally come true.”
“There’s excitement in working with actors, but I wanted to do a project that focuses on women’s emotions while having conversations with women,” she added. “The drama is more intense than what I’ve imagined. And I think I’ll get to express and show lots of emotions. I had fun shooting.”
Meanwhile, Kill Heel will premiere on the 23rd at 10:30 PM KST.
