Bae Doo Na has joined the production of Rebel Moon, the epic sci-fi fantasy feature that Zack Snyder is directing for Netflix.

On the 9th, Hollywood Reporter reported that Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon has finalized the all-star cast. Bae Doo Na will be working with The Mummy and Atomic Blonde star Sofia Boutella, The Sons of Anarchy actor Charlie Hunnam, Charlie’s Angels and Captain Marvel actor Djimon Hounsou, and Justice League star Ray Fisher.

Earlier, it was reported that Snyder had tapped Sofia Boutella as the female lead of Rebel Moon. Hollywood Reported confirmed, “Sofia Boutella is leading the ensemble in the story of a peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy that is threatened by the armies of a tyrannical regent named Belisarius. Desperate, the colonists dispatch a young woman with a mysterious past to seek out warriors from neighboring planets to help them make a stand.”

According to the report, Bae Doo Na will be playing “a nemesis who is proficient with a sword.”

Snyder is the director of several box office hits, including 300, Man of Steel, Justice League, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman. He’ll co-write his new Netflix feature with Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad, based on a story by Snyder and Johnstad.

One thing to note about Rebel Moon is the rather long production shoot – from April to November. According to THR, “that is due to the project ambitiously being a two-part movie.”
