The dynamic energy of the “rookie cops” will charge our exhausted minds.
Disney Plus’s original series Rookie Cops is set in the police university. This new youth romance drama is about the love and challenges of youth we want to support. They may be clumsy and full of mistakes, but the youth in their 20s shine brighter than anyone else.
The Bride of Habaek and Nine: Nine Times Time Travel director Kim Byung Soo helms the production. Joining him in the crew is screenwriter Lee Ha Na. On top of everything, the show boasts a star-studded cast, including Kang Daniel, Chae Soo Bin, Lee Shin Young, Park Yoo Na, Kim Sang Ho, and more.
The released photos give a glimpse into the secret plotting of Wi Seung Hyun, Kim Tak, Yoo Dae Il, and Seo Beom Joo. The sight of them peeking into the dormitory hallway in the middle of the night gives a big laugh. The four of them are all ready to enjoy a sweet late-night snack, escaping all the surveillance. Especially how they are holding pens as chopsticks add to the fun.
Meanwhile, Kang Daniel plays Wi Seung Hyun, a man who has intelligence and a sense of justice, while Lee Shin Young turns into Kim Tak, a freshman who used to be in the national youth judo team. Additionally, Park Sung Hoon plays cheerful and friendly Yoo Dae In, and Kim Woo Suk takes on the role of Seo Bum Joo, who loves going by the book.
Meanwhile, Rookie Cops will be released on Disney Plus in the first half of 2022.
