Im Soo Hyang is starring in MBC’s upcoming drama, Dr. Lawyer.
Dr. Lawyer is a medical suspense drama about a genius surgeon who becomes a medical malpractice lawyer after losing everything due to a fabricated surgery and a district attorney from the Medical Crimes Department who loses her family and lover through that medical operation. Together, they punish those who believe that a person’s life can be ranked based on wealth and power and comfort the victims who have been wronged.
Im Soo Hyang plays the role of Geum Seok Young, a prosecutor from the Medical Crimes Department in the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office. Geum Seok Young is an attorney who firmly believes that bringing justice is the best way to rehabilitate criminals. � When she comes across defendants who are actually innocent, she is willing to stand by their side more than their own attorneys do.
So Ji Sub and Shin Sung Rok were the first to hop on Dr. Lawyer. So Ji Sub will play the male lead of Han Yi Han, the genius surgeon who is now a medical malpractice lawyer. Shin Sung Rok will play Jayden Lee, the head of the Asian branch of Honors Hand, a company that specializes in lobbying and investment.
The upcoming MBC drama will premiere in 2022.
