Girls’ Generation Yuri was chosen as the homeroom teacher for My Teenage Girl.

According to Starnews, Yuri will be the regular cast of MBC’s new audition show My Teenage Girl. As the representative 1st-generation idol, Yuri will give advice to the auditionees.

My Teenage Girl is a new project by producer Han Dong Chul, who made multiple hits like Show Me the Money, Unpretty Rapstar, and Produce 101. This upcoming audition seeks girls aged 12-years old and up who dream of becoming the next global K-pop sensation.

About 87,000 girls have applied for the audition, and since September 27th, the show’s prequel aired with 80 finalists.

Guiding them to success is AIKI, a dancer for Refund Sisters (Hangout with Yoo’s project group) and a participant in Street Woman Fighter. Moreover, doctor Oh Eun Young, a pediatric/adolescent psychiatrist, helps trainees manage their mental health. And joining these two mentors is Yuri, who has opened her heyday as an actress with Bossam: Steal the Fate.

Meanwhile, My Teenage Girl will premiere on MBC in November.
