Blackpink’s Lisa succeeded in entering the Billboard Global 200 with her solo debut album LALISA.

Lisa’s first solo title song “LALISA” ranked 2nd on the Billboard Global 200, announced on the 20th (local time). In addition, the song debuted at No. 84 on Hot 100, confirming her presence in the pop market.

This is Blackpink’s second-highest ranking, following her teammate Rosé’s “On the Ground” (No. 70). These are the achievements made solely through the power of music in a situation where they can’t carry out proper promotions due to the pandemic.

Forbes also spotlighted Lisa’s achievement. “The title track ‘LALISA’ is the more popular of the two, as it rules the World Digital Song Sales chart and makes a historic appearance on the Hot 100,” they wrote. “Both ‘LALISA’ and ‘Money’ debut inside the top 10 on the all-genre Digital Song Sales list, landing at Nos. 6 and 8, respectively.”

With her solo album released on the 10th, Lisa is continuing her record-breaking streak.

“LALISA” has topped the iTunes Top Song Charts in 72 countries so far and ranked 1st on YouTube Song Top 100 Chart. The track also landed at No. 15 on the Spotify Global Chart and Np. 68 on the Official Singles Chart Top 100.

Moreover, “LALISA” MV is now the most-viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a solo artist. The video then became the fastest debut music video in YouTube history to hit 10 million views (90 minutes).
