According to Hanteo Chart, Lisa’s solo debut album LALISA sold73,621 copies (from the 10th to 16th). This surpasses the record made by BLACKPINK’s 1st full album, THE ALBUM, which is about 690,000.

Hanteo Chart’s tally does not include some of the exports due to the nature of the album distribution structure in the States and Europe. So in the case of Blackpink, the number rose to 1 million copies (according to Gaon Chart, which includes all exports), making the act the first K-pop girl group to become a million-selling team.

Lisa is also believed to have sold over 800,000 copies of LALISA, including overseas sales. Considering that Lisa’s global influence is increasing by leaps and bounds, her cumulative sales is highly likely to exceed 1 million copies.

An official from YG explained, “BLACKPINK’s 1st album has continued to see a rise in its album sales at home and abroad after the first-week sales. The smash is currently recording a cumulative record of 1.4 million. Once the sales of ‘LALISA’ EP, which has not been released yet, is counted, the number will increase even more.”

Meanwhile, “LALISA” MV has reached 100 million views on YouTube in a little over 2 days. With it, it became the fastest MV by any K-pop solo-artists to reach the mark. On top of that, the video has been holding the top spot for the most viewed videos on YouTube for 7 days.
