Choi Ji Woo is making her comeback with the new Kakao TV original project Goosebumps (literal title).
According to numerous industry insiders, Choi Ji Woo has recently joined the new thriller project Goosebumps. Goosebumps is Kakao TV’s first original thriller omnibus project. The production is helmed by director Jeong Beom Sik, who directed Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum and Forbidden Dream.
Choi JI Woo will play Hyun Jung, a beautiful woman who holds a secret. In the story of “even a peaceful daily life can turn into a horror,” she will bring forth a tension that’ll send chills down your spine.
In particular, trot singer Jung Dong Won took the lead role in the project, making headlines.
The last time Choi Ji Woo starred in a drama was four years ago when she played the lead role in tvN’s The Most Beautiful Goodbye. The actress has been on a hiatus since giving birth to her daughter in 2018. As she confirmed her comeback with a thriller genre, expectations are already through the roof.
Meanwhile, Goosebumps will be released as a Kakao TV original later this year.
