Yoo Teo is heading to Hollywood.
According to C-JeS Entertainment, Yoo Teo is set to star in Past Lives, produced by A24, the producer and distributor of Minari and Moonlight. CJ ENM will co-finance and produce the film.
Past Lives depicts a love story of a man and a woman who met in Korea as children reuniting as adults. Celine Song will write the script and helm the production. And alongside Yoo Teo, Russian Doll actress Greta Lee was named as the female lead.
Christine Vachon and Pamela Koffler will produce for Killer Films, with David Hinojosa joining to produce via 2AM. John Magaro also is on board to play a key supporting role.
Yoo Teo rose to fame when he starred in the well-received movie Summer as Victor Choi. Since then, he appeared in the drama Money Game, Netflix’s The School Nurse Files, and the film New Year Blues. Currently, he’s starring in a variety show, Honeymoon Tavern.
