Jang Ki Yong and Hyeri shared that the romance in My Roommate Is a Gumiho will deepen even more.
Based on a webtoon, the series revolves around Lee Dam (Hyeri), a 22-year-old college student, and a mysterious nine-tailed fox Shin Woo Yeo(Jang Ki Yong). In it, she begins to live with a 999-year-old fox, Shin Woo Yeo, after inadvertently swallowing his mysterious marble.
First, Jang Ki Yong and Hyeri thanked the viewers for all their support. “I’m also enjoying the romance of Yeo Woo-Dam couple as one of the viewers,” shared Jang. Hyeri also added, “I’m reading all the comments that the viewers wrote. I’m always grateful. Every time I read them, it feels like I became one of the viewers.”
The actors also mentioned all the favorable reactions towards the Yeo Woo-Dam couple. “Hyeri did such an amazing job that allowed us to show great synergy and chemistry. Also, the scripts played a big role. From the moment I first read the scripts, I thought that the relationships are interesting and three-dimensional.”
Hyeri then chose the first meeting in episode 1 as her favorite Yeo Woo-Dam couple moment. “When Jae Jin throws up on Woo Yeo’s car, Dam is freaked out after seeing the car owner. But Woo Yeo is very calm. That contrast raises expectations about what’s to come for the Yeo Woo- Dam couple.”
Lastly, Jang and Hyeri chose what’s to look for in the remaining episodes. Jang said, “Now that Woo Yeo has realized his feelings for Dam, there are lots of lovey-dovey moments to come. The romance between the two gradually deepens, giving laughs and excitement to viewers till the end.” Hyeri shared, “Dam is constantly at the crossroads of choice as she’s connected with Gye Sun Woo with a red string. I hope you enjoy Dam’s journey of finding true love with her first love, Woo Yeo.”
