BTS has become nominees for four awards at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards (BBMA).
On April 29th (local time), Billboard Music Awards announced its nominations for the upcoming award ceremony.
The supergroup BTS won four nominations: “Top Duo/Group,” “Top Song Sales Artist,” “Top Social Artist,” and “Top Selling Song.” This is, by far, their best record. BTS was nominated for BBMA for the 5th consecutive year. And they are the first K-pop artist to win such a feat.
Last year, the group was named “Top Social Artist” for the 4th year. In addition, they won “Top Duo/Group” and “Top Song Sales Artist” awards in 2019.
Currently, BTS is gearing up for their comeback with their new song “BUTTER.”
Meanwhile, Blackpink and Seventeen also received their first-ever BBMA nominations this year. These two teams snagged the “Top Social Artist” nod, joining BTS, Ariana Grande, and SB19 in the competition.
