The new Wavve original series ‘You Raise Me Up’ confirmed the casting of Yoon Shi Yoon, Hani, and Park Ki Woong.
You Raise Me Up is about a 30-year-old man starting a new chapter of his life after reuniting with his first love, who became a urologist. It’s a sexy comedy series that Wavve has prepared as its original content. Yoon Shi Yoon, Hani (Ahn Hee Yeon), and Park Ki Woong have officially joined the cast lineup.
First of all, Yoon plays Do Young Shik a 31-year-old, who is preparing for the civil service examination. Besides the paunch he got from sitting all day long, he now has to be treated for his urinary tract issues. To make things worse, he meets his first love as his urologist. Will he be able to leave his days of humiliation behind and start a new chapter of his life?
Lee Ruda, played by Hani, is the urologist. She has it all, from beautiful looks to a wealthy family. Yet, there is one problem in her life, and that’s her boyfriend with a big ego. To humble his pride, she lied that her first love is someone who’s incomparably awesome. However, her first love is not the person he used to be. Now she goes on a mission to save her face.
Lastly, Park takes on the role of psychiatrist Do Ji Hyuk. He is Ruda’s boyfriend and owns his own clinic in the same building. He was born into wealth, has his own clinic under his name, and is good-looking. But the problem is that he knows it too well. This excessive love for himself always gives his girlfriend a dig.
Studio S, the production company for You Raise Me Up, shared, “It will be capturing the sexy and jolly growth of the youth as they take charge of their own love and life within the bouncy and sexy story.”
You Raise Me Up recently confirmed its cast lineup and started filming. The series will be released in the summer.
