Here are the top 10 weekly idols on the K-pop channel NEW K.ID for March’s fifth week.

WINNER returns to the #1 spot on NEW K.ID’s Weekly Chart, keeping its place for two weeks straight. WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon has also ranked #1 on the iTunes album chart across 18 countries with his first solo album [PAGE] after its release on March 29th. These countries include Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Portugal, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam. All 12 album tracks were written and composed by Kang Seung Yoon himself, and the title song “IYAH” touches on the greater responsibilities and burden that comes with becoming an adult. The music video portrays his personal coming story. He has stated that “Over time, the feelings I felt in the past are very much different from what I feel today. That’s why I feel like I’ve become a person who can share more mature and diverse stories.”

BLACKPINK also keeps its #2 spot this week. BLACKPINK member ROSÉ is gaining global traction as she appears on popular shows in the US and Japan. In the US, ROSÉ appears on NBC’s “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” with Kelly Clarkson introducing her as “the hottest artist in the world.” ROSÉ also appeared on the popular radio show “Zach Sang Show (106.1 KOQL-FM), and they shared her interview on the show’s YouTube channel. She also made her way to Japan to perform on the popular Japanese program “Sukkiri!”.

New to the #3 spot is the girl group NATURE. In recent news, their agency n.CH Entertainment announced that member NATURE AURORA would make a special appearance in the Chinese drama “Word of Honor’.”

At #4 is Golden Child. Followed by the group ITZY at #5, pushing ASTRO out of the top ten this week. They announced to make a comeback and release their new album “GUESS WHO” on April 30th. In another announcement, JYP Entertainment posted a congratulatory message for exceeding 300 million views on YouTube for their “WANNABE” music video. Also, in recent news, a live clip of the fan song ‘MIDZY (English Ver.)’ was pre-released on MTV’s official YouTube channel in the US, and ITZY member Yeji was selected as “Artist of the Month” on MNET’s digital studio M2’s “STUDIO CHOOM.”

GFRIEND takes the #6 spot. Following behind the group, NCT 127 takes #7. NCT 127 recently appeared on Japan’s TV Asahi “Music Station.” They joined the show’s two-hour special session and performed the song “gimme gimme” from their “LOVEHOLIC” mini-album, which came out in Japan last month.

At #9 is SF9. SF9 fans will be happy to hear. The entire band has renewed their contract with FNC Entertainment.

Finally, at #10 is the veteran K-POP band, Super Junior. These boys return to NEW K.ID’s weekly chart as their new song “House Party” music video exceeds 10 million views on YouTube. As promised, the group will release a special video to celebrate the feat, as they pledged to do when their studio album was released.
