Actor Kim Min Jae has been selected as the main character of Dal Ri and Gamjatang.
An individual related to the drama department informed Daily Sports on the 9th, “Kim Min Jae has been decided as KBS 2TV Dal Ri and Gamjatang‘s main role, and will work with Park Gyu Young.”
The new and upcoming series, Dal Ri and Gamjatang, is about an ignorant social climber who wishes to enter the inner circle but ends up falling in love while trying to take the art museum from a daughter of a prestigious family. While the two share no similarities whatsoever including their childhood, wealth, academic background, taste, and value, they grow upon understanding each other after the encounter through the art gallery which is about to go out of business.
Kim Min Jae will be playing the role of Jin Moo Hak, the managing director of F&B director for Don Don. He is the second son of a company that started off small with a pork back-bone stew house, which then grew into a global restaurant with more than 400 franchises. As his name suggests in Korean, he has never missed being in the last place in school and does not have a single college degree. After demonstrating his potential through Do You Like Brahms? last year, Kim Min Jae is to lead the series once again.
Dal Ri and Gamjatang are written by Son Eun Hye and Park Se Eun, while it is directed by Lee Jung Seop.
