IU has confirmed her comeback date, and it’s March 25.
On March 4, IU released the teaser image and the title of her new album – Lilac – through her official social media channels and heated up the comeback fever.
The released photo shows IU looking straight into the camera with teary eyes as the petals fall like snow. Unlike the previous teasers that showed her all decorated, this new image highlights the singer’s pure and innocent charm, raising expectations.
IU’s latest full-album Palette was released in 2017, so Lilac will be another major addition to her discography in about 4 years. As IU has solidified her unique music color by freely moving between various genres, attention is already focused on what concept and music she will visit us with this time.
