Weki Meki’s Kim Doyeon to Challenge Her First Mini-Series Drama with ‘My Roommate Is a Gumiho’

Weki Meki’s Kim Doyeon will appear in her first mini-series drama with My Roommate Is a Gumiho.

According to Starnews, Kim Doyeon has been cast to play a role in the new tvN romantic comedy drama My Roommate Is a Gumiho.

My Roommate is a Gumiho, scheduled to air in the first half of 2021, is about a female college student who accidentally swallows the marble of a male gumiho, who had a dream of becoming a human for hundreds of years, and the romance that ensues. Earlier, Hyeri, Kang Ki Yong, Kang Han Na, Kim Do Wan, Bae In Hyuk and more have confirmed their appearances.

Kim Doyeon has been cast to play the younger sister of Gye Sun Woo (Bae In Hyuk), the so-called prince of the college who comes from a good background with both impressive brains and beauty.

After earning the nickname “little Jun Ji Hyun” in Produce 101, Kim joined the project group I.O.I as a member. The following year, she officially debuted as a member of the girl group Weki Meki, all the while solidifying her acting career with various web-dramas and short dramas. Naturally, attention now focuses on what she will show through her first mini-series performance.
