The Idol Star Athletics Championships for the Lunar New Year will air as a two-part show under the theme of “Hall of Fame.”
For the upcoming episode, Idol Star Athletics Championships will look back on its 12-year history by gathering the highlight of some of the best matches. Jeon Hyun Moon, who has been hosting the event for 9 years, and Leeteuk will act as this year’s hosts.
In the first episode, the all-time legend “sports idol” SHINee’s Minho, futsal’s idol legend Yoon Doo Joon, the all-time pitcher Apink’s Yoon Bomi, and “20 medals” BTOB’s Minhyuk will gather at one place to watch their glorious moments.
Oh My Girl’s Seunghee, THE BOYZ’s Juyeon, Stray Kids’ Hyunjin and ITZY’s Yeji and Lia will participate in the studio recording, spicing up the talk.
In the second episode, ASTRO’s Moonbin, who became the champion ssireum wrestler in 2019, and “super rookie” NCT DREAM’s Jeno will additionally join the program to talk about the newly launched sports games.
The first episode will air on Feb 11 at 9:30 pm KST and the second episode will broadcast on Deb 12 at 5:30 pm KST.
