Boy band ONEUS celebrated their second anniversary since their debut.
As ONEUS took their first step in the industry with the debut album LIGHT US on January 9th, 2019, the group established a firm identity of their own with unique concepts and universes.
The group is complete with excellent vocal and performance skills, as well as songwriting, composing, and producing skills. Hence, let’s take some time to look back on ONEUS’s achievements over the past two years.
ONEUS made headlines with the debut album LIGHT US, as they topped iTunes K-Pop Albums charts within the U.S., Australia, the U.K., and Canada. The group was known for their thorough narrative that illustrates the process of the sun’s light passing through Earth’s time and becoming a space in the moon. As they established themselves as “talented performers,” they stood tall as the next-gen K-Pop boy group.
The group announced the start of its full-fledged universe with their first single-album IN ITS TIME. Their title track, “A Song Written Easily,” especially drew attention with its alluring charms. ONEUS ranked seventh in the boy band category of brand reputation index in April of 2020 after charting for two consecutive weeks on the U.S. Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales Chart, as well as being in the first Top 10 since their debut. Since then, ONEUS has presented high-quality performances in Mnet’s Road to Kingdom as they conveyed a message alarming the public about violence within schools.
The story about a cursed monarchy which began in “COME BACK HOME” was dealt with more depth in LIVED as it established ONEUS as a group who excels in story-planning. The group is once again planning to present an unprecedented change in their new album DEVIL, as they illustrate how it’s like to be on the boundary of life and death. As DEVIL is their first full-length album in two years after ONEUS’s debut, it got full support from RBW’s producing team, as well as Ravn, Leedo, and Seoho’s participation in songwriting.
ONEUS will make a surprise comeback on the upcoming 19th, as they release the first full-length album, DEVIL.
