Recently, a media outlet gave an update of how former AOA member Jimin has been doing since she left the entertainment industry.
Back in July last year, netizens were put in a state of shock when former AOA member Mina confessed that she was bullied by Jimin for the past 10 years. As the controversy snowballed, FNC Entertainment announced Jimin’s departure not only from the group but also from the entertainment industry.
At the time, FNC stated, “We would first like to apologize for causing concern to everyone because of the situation involving Jimin. As of today, Jimin has left AOA and will halt all activities. We take full responsibility for this situation, and we will dedicate all of our effort to managing our artists.”
Since then, Jimin, who has been branded as a bully, went off the radar, even deleting all her social media accounts, including her personal YouTube channel. According to a Daily News report, Jimin is living a reclusive life, cutting off all ties from her managers and other acquaintances. All her close acquaintances shared that she has “completely immured herself.”
