Super Junior has been chosen for the first place of ‘2020’s Artist of the Year’ in the category of Korean Artist by KKBOX, Taiwan’s largest online music platform.
While the ranking for ‘2020’s Artist of the Year’ has been made based on the number of streams on KKBOX’s website and app, Super Junior took the first place as Super Junior-K.R.Y. took the 9th. This demonstrated the group’s unchanging popularity amongst local fans.
It is noteworthy that all the top 14 songs in KKBOX’s ‘2020 Korean Top Single’ were from Super Junior’s ninth full-length repackage album, TIMELESS. Currently, Super Junior has been maintaining their first place in KKBOX’s Korean album chart for 164 weeks since November 6th, 2017. This is the longest period ever recorded, made possible with their 8th full-length album PLAY, its repackaged album REPLAY, 9th full-length album Time_Slip, and its repackaged album TIMELESS.
Meanwhile, Super Junior is currently preparing to release their 10th full-length album The Renaissance.
