Lee Seung Gi and Lee Min Ho heralded a special collaboration.
On Jan 5, Lee Min Ho and Lee Seung Gi posted the same clip on their Instagram accounts and wrote, “Leeseunggi X Leeminhofilm 2021.01.06 open.”
The released clip shows the two talking on a video call. Answering the call Lee Min Ho called, Lee Seung Gi answers, “I was trying to read my scripts, but couldn’t concentrate so… Oh, by the way, you started your own channel ‘Lee Min Ho Film’ on YouTube, right?”
Seung Gi then added, “Yeah, so I was thinking… For my new album that’s out, and that’s if you have time to spare of course, maybe we could meet up and make some videos together.”
Lee Min Ho answered, “I will definitely check out all your songs before we meet,” and the video added with the phrase “Leeminho Film presents X Leeseunggi,” heralding the two’s special collaboration.
Netizens showed passionate reactions to this short clip. Expressing surprise at their friendship, they wrote comments like “The two best Lees in Korea are coming together,” “Can’t wait,” or “You guys are collaborating and I’m the happiest person in the world.” Actor Jung Il Woo also left a cute comment on Lee Min Ho’s post, saying, “I also have my YouTube channel, did you forget that Minho?”
Meanwhile, Lee Seung Gi dropped his new full album The Project in December last year.
