Comedian Hong Hyun Hee has received her test result for COVID-19 as negative.

On the 23rd, Bliss Entertainment reported News1 that “she and her manager had been tested negative for Covid-19, but were categorized as close contact and hence plan to go into a 2-week self-quarantine.” Due to this, Hong Hyun Hee became unable to participate in the upcoming 2020 MBC Entertainment Awards on the 29th.

On the 22nd, a staff from MBC’s Omniscient Interfering View was confirmed with Covid-19. Therefore Hong Hyun Hee and her manager, who was in a shoot with the confirmed individual, had to be tested.

Since then there had been speculations made about it also affecting the shooting scene of Taste of Wife, a show where Hong Hyun Hee appears. However, the crew of Taste of Wife revealed that the shoot with Hong Hyun Hee took place before the 20th, and so does not overlap with the shoot of Omniscient Interfering View.

Omniscient Interfering View announced on the 22nd that “a staff was confirmed with COVID-19 and their route and close contacts are being examined,” as they added that the show for the week will be canceled.

Meanwhile, Hong Hyun Hee had previously been tested on December 3rd when she joined the shoot with Singer Lee Chan Won, who had been confirmed with COVID-19. After being tested negative, she underwent a 2-week self-quarantine. This makes it her second-time self-quarantining, this month alone.
