VICTON Postpones the Release of Their New Album’ VOICE: The future is now’ in the Aftermath of COVID-19

VICTON will postpone the release of the new album in the aftermath of the coronavirus.

On Nov 24, the group’s agency PlayM Entertainment said, “The outside staff who took part in the group’s filming for the 1theK content was confirmed with COVID-19. Following the health authorities’ guidelines, seven members and five PlayM staff were tested on Nov 23 and received negative results today.”

PlayM continued, “Now, an epidemiological investigation is underway, and the members and PlayM staff have decided to voluntarily go into self-isolation for the time being, putting securing safety as the top priority.”

“In addition to this situation, we have been forced to postpone the release of the album due to various issues such as sudden changes in schedules caused by the level two social-distancing due to the re-surge of COVID-19 pandemic,” they added. With this news, the showcase for VICTON’s comeback has also been postponed.

VICTON was originally scheduled to return to the K-pop scene with their first full-length album VOICE: The future is now on Dec 1, but has decided to delay their comeback in the aftermath of COVID-19.
