Lee Min Jung shared her love story with her husband, actor Lee Byung Hun.
The recent episode of JTBC’s Gamsung Camping showed members leaving for Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province, to enjoy the “western” sentiments.
Enjoying the dinner, some of the members asked Lee Min Jung, who appeared as a guest, “How did you meet your husband?” Lee answered, “I first met him at a restaurant through our acquaintances. Back then, I was 25 years old and just started to work in this industry.”
She then added, “I dated him for about a year, and he had to work in the States. And I was just so passionate as I have just started this work. So we broke up due to differences in opinion about work and marriage. And three years later, I met him again, and we got married.”
When she was asked how she got back together with Lee Byung Hun, she replied, “He was working overseas a lot, and he called me one day and said, ‘Let’s meet up when I return to Korea.’ And the day we met, we got back together.”
“I delayed our marriage because I wanted to continue my career. But he told me to make a decision. He said, ‘If you choose to marry me, then I will wait for you no matter what, so tell me if you plan to marry me.’ I thought that I would never meet a guy I love this much, and I still wanted to work, but I tied the knot,” she said. “If I didn’t get married then, then I would never have gotten married.”
