Kim Soo Hyun, Shunsuke Michieda, Park Ji Hwan, Um Mun Suk and Heo Sung Tae have been added to the lineup for the 2026 Asia Artist Awards.
The Asia Artist Awards announced the additional actor lineup on September 1st, adding the five stars to the highly anticipated ceremony.
The 2026 Asia Artist Awards will take place over two days on December 5th and 6th at Kaohsiung National Stadium in Taiwan. The event will bring together top singers and actors from across Asia.
Kim Soo Hyun is known for his roles in hit dramas including The Moon Embracing the Sun, My Love from the Star, It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, and Queen of Tears, as well as the film The Thieves. His performance in Queen of Tears further cemented his status as one of Korea’s leading actors.
Shunsuke Michieda, a member of Naniwa Danshi, has built a successful career as both a singer and actor. He has gained popularity in Korea as well as Japan and is set to star in the upcoming films In the Clear Moonlit Dusk and Leviathan (litertal title).
Park Ji Hwan is best known for his memorable performances in The Roundup film series. His distinctive style and versatility have made him a standout presence in both films and dramas.
Um Mun Suk recently appeared as the villain Cheon Kwang Jin in SBS’s Taxi Driver 3. He also stars in the upcoming film Hope as Yang Bae, a key figure in the story.
Heo Sung Tae gained international recognition for his role in Netflix’s Squid Game. He recently made a special appearance as Ham Seong Wook in SBS’s Flex X Cop 2.
The MC lineup for AAA 2026 includes Jang Won-young, who will host the ceremony for the sixth consecutive year, along with Ji Chang-wook and Sung Han Bin. One additional MC will be announced at a later date.
The previously announced actor lineup includes Go Youn Jung, Kim Seon Ho, Kim You Jung, Kim Jae Won, Kim Hye Yoon, Dahyun of TWICE, Moon Sang Min, Park Ji Hoon, Bae Jong Ok, Byeon Woo Seok, Ahn Hyo Seop, Yoon Kyung Ho, Lee Da Hee, Lee Sang Yi, Lee Jong Won, Lee Hong Nae, Jang DaA, Choo Young Woo, Heo Nam Jun and Hyeri.
The singer lineup includes NEXZ, RIIZE, LNGSHOT, RESCENE, MONSTA X, MEOVV, Park Ji Hoon, Super Junior-D&E, IDID, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, &TEAM, Accusefive, ATEEZ, Xdinary Heroes, NMIXX, Yeonjun (TOMORROW X TOGETHER), ALLDAY PROJECT, WOODZ, Yuna (ITZY), ITZY, ZEROBASEONE, Joohoney of MONSTA X, YENA, CLOSE YOUR EYES, KISS OF LIFE, KiiiKiii, KickFlip, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, TWS, tripleS, Hearts2Hearts and QWER.
More artists are expected to be announced for AAA 2026, which is hosted by Star News and organized by the AAA Organizing Committee, MOTIVE and D-SOW.
