Kwon Yul added one more drama to his upcoming schedule.
Yesterday, it was confirmed that Kwon Yul has been cast to take the male lead in the new drama W: The City of Women Who Never Die (literal title).
W: The City of Women Who Never Die is a women-centered drama that tells the story of two women who had lived entirely different lives throw away all their ways and jump off a cliff together to create a world where justice and truth are alive. A woman who was never free and was never righteous and a woman who never knew how to compromise or run away will be at the center of the story. Earlier, Kim Sun Ah and Uhm Jung Hwa were reported to have been cast to show the “women power.”
Kwon Yul will be playing Baek Jae Min. Baek is a “nation’s announcer” who has been the anchor of the main news for many years and has a magical charm that embodies both strength and innocence. He becomes the “icon of goodness” when he establishes social enterprise to spread good influence.
Meanwhile, Kwon Yul will greet the viewer first through Kakao TV’s The In-Laws, scheduled to be released today. In this drama, he will play Moon Goo Young, a “common” husband these days who is neither good or bad and who is torn between his role as a “son” and as a “husband,”
W: The City of Women Who Never Die is scheduled to air sometime next year.
