Ok! Madam: Bon Voyage, the sequel to Ok! Madam, has confirmed its Aug. 12th release and unveiled its launch poster and trailer.

The film is an action comedy about Mi Young, a legendary former agent, and her family, who set off on a luxury cruise for a breath of fresh air, only to get caught up in a hijacking in the middle of the ocean.

The newly released poster puts Uhm Jung Hwa front and center as Mi Young, who had been living an ordinary life as the owner of a popular twisted doughnut shop before her vacation takes a dangerous turn. Park Sung Woong adds a humorous touch as her husband Seok Hwan, an unemployed homebody with the passion of an elite NIS agent.

Lee Sang Yoon brings weight to the story as Cheol Seung, Mi Young’s former colleague, while Bae Jung Nam plays Hyun Min, a man whose dramatic rise has landed him as the groom at a lavish cruise wedding. Park Jin Joo joins the fun as Sun Ah, the head of the Eastern Venus, who is determined to protect the ship at all costs.

Ryeoun plays Ji Hoon, a cruise magician who becomes unexpectedly tied to Mi Young, while Choi Sooyoung rounds out the lineup as Anya, the ruthless leader of the criminal group that throws the cruise into chaos.

The launch trailer opens with Mi Young taking down hijackers on a plane, calling back to the first film, before flashing the line, “This time, it’s a cruise.” A massive ship sailing across the open sea sets the stage for bigger action, with Mi Young racing across the deck and characters clashing in intense hand-to-hand fights.

The trailer also teases the movie’s chaotic comedy. When Sun Ah asks, “Who kidnapped you and brought you here?” Seok Hwan, tied up by the arms, looks stunned as he asks, “Kidnapped?” Anya then raises the stakes with a chilling, “Shall we begin?”

Packed with gunfights, midair stunts above the cruise ship and large-scale explosions, Ok! Madam: Bon Voyage promises breezy summer thrills and big laughs against the backdrop of the open sea.

Ok! Madam: Bon Voyage opens in theaters nationwide on Aug. 12th.
