G-Dragon’s comeback is finally coming true.
YG Entertainment confirmed G-Dragon’s comeback, saying, “He is currently working on his new songs.” In particular, G-Dragon has been seen frequenting YG Entertainment’s new building, YGX, and Black Label studios since some time ago, raising expectations.
G-Dragon was discharged from the military in October last year and signed his third contract with YG in March. Big Bang was originally scheduled to resume their career by staging the world’s largest music festival “Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival,” but the group’s activities were also put on hold as the festival itself was canceled in the wake of the new coronavirus infection.
G-Dragon’s comeback to the K-pop scene comes about four years after Big Bang’s full-length album MADE, released in December 2016. As he has established himself as a “K-pop icon” with sensuous fashion and music, music fans around the world are tuning into his comeback.
